The 1st Chinese Museum in Malaysia: Opened May 2018

Visited the first Malaysian Chinese Museum (located at Wisma HuaZhong, Seri Kembangan) which is a collection of miniatures showcasing the history and lives of the Chinese community. The museum displays the artifacts and chronicle of the history of Chinese immigrants to Malaysia and their integration into Malaysia society. It has more than 10,000 precious historical items & information, documents and pictures to present the contributions the Chinese has made to Malaysia.

It has a built-up area of 10,550 sq. ft. and has a total of 15 thematic zones exhibiting the history of Chinese and other ethnic groups. Different phases of era – Japanese rule, return of British, emergency period and others are displayed. The museum is also equipped with high tech devices such as 3D and 2D interactive visuals to merge with traditional artifacts.

The visit is highly recommended and is very interesting, educational and enjoyable.
