马来西亚美术史，上个世纪50年代，由第一代宗师［ 陈文希、鈡泗宾、刘抗、陈宗瑞］，始建第一个马来亚新文化艺术。谢忝宋是〈南洋风格〉第二代的继承者，亦是跨世纪，新南洋水墨的开拓者，也是当代南洋水墨艺术，一位极重要的舵手。

2008年 〈海外中国书画艺术〉当代名家专辑。
2010年〈新中国国礼六人集〉。
1999-2013年〈中外名人录辞典〉。
1999年 代表本国十位名画家，受中国文化部之邀展于中国美术馆。
2001年 代表本国五位画家，受邀〈奥林匹克美术大展〉于伦敦。作品被当局收藏。
2013年〈一代翘楚〉谢忝宋，刘大为，杨晓阳，欧阳中石，张海，五人专辑。
2013年受文化国家视觉美术馆，颁发“SAUT55” ， 视觉艺术家表扬贡献奖。
2015年 受邀我国视觉美术馆之邀，举行谢忝宋〈新南风〉水墨个人展。并出版金装本个人画册。

In the history of Malaysian art, during the 1950s, the first generation of masters [Chen Wenxi, Zhong Sibin, Liu Kang, Chen Zongrui] laid the foundation for the New Culture Art of Malaya. Dr. Cheah is the inheritor of the “Nanyang Style,” representing the second generation, and is a trailblazer of New Nanyang ink painting (art) in the new century. He is a pivotal figure in contemporary Nanyang ink painting.
